"For Brad Erickson of Grinnell, Iowa, a ride on his 2004 Victory Vegas (shown above) proved to be a life-changing experience. While riding through tiny (population 287) Ladora, Iowa, in 2004, Brad spotted a classic old bank building. The brick building looked regal with its tall twin concrete pillars, but was obviously in need of extensive repairs - which is probably why it was for sale. Grabbing for life's gusto, Brad bought the building weeks later and he and his fiance, Colleen Klainert, began a 4-year renovation project. Their labors bore fruit in May 2008 when they opened the Ladora Bank Bistro. The Ladora Bank Bistro is a unique wine bar that offers a fascinating dining experience in an unforgettable setting. Tables are set up right in the bank's first-floor open area, with bank teller cages lining a wall and towering windows letting in ample light. The bistro's website traces the building's rich history with photos of the building through the years and the restaurant's interior. Victory Riders have a standing invitation to stop by and see Brad and Colleen's treasure. "
